My bf is such a sweetheart. We both woke up kinda early yesterday but I was still hella sleepy and didn't wanna get up so he went downstairs while I napped, cooked some ham & eggs, and brought me breakfast in bed! And after I ate and was still sleepy, he laid there with me and held me til I was ready to get up. I love him so much.

My christmas was pretty damn awesome. Danny and I just spent most of the day lounging around on the couch in front of the fireplace and in bed, watching tv, cuddling, opening presents, texting people, talking to our families on the phone, cooking, pigging out together, taking food to our friends at The Orleans' arcade that had to work, playing a little ITG, and sleeping.

I know it sounds like he got a lot more but my gifts were more expensive plus half the stuff I got him is gonna be used just as much by me. :p

We decided to bring out the gingerbread house we'd made together for Xmas too. It's kinda funny looking but at least we tried!:

And our Xmas dinner turned out SO good! We were really surprised that our first Xmas dinner alone was so successful. We were pretty proud of ourselves too for not burning anything. Everything came out perfect! At least WE think so. It was yummy:

New top 5 movie of 2009 right at the end of the year!!! Yes, Danny and I finally went to watch Avatar in 3D tonight after hearing a ton of good reviews. It was no disappointment. It was very long (2hrs 40mins?) but SO beautiful and exactly my type. It reminded me of some of my favorite trippy dreams.

There have been a lot of good movies this year, actually. I keep having to name new favorites. Lol I can't even remember all of them anymore but a few of my other favorites were Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant, Crank 2, Star Trek, Ninja Assassin, The Twilight Saga: New Moon,.. That's all I can remember right now. What good movies am I leaving out? What were your guys' favorites this year?

Vegas people: What the eff are you doing for New Year's?

Danny and I WERE gonna go see Tiesto at Aria's new Haze nightclub (at City Center) but we decided it wasn't worth $700 just to listen to amazing music for a couple hours, especially since we didn't plan to stay for the whole thing.

Soooo.... Now we're looking for something else to do or some people to hang with. I know I'm gonna have some friends in town and expect to be on/near the strip at midnight to watch the fireworks but I haven't really coordinated anything just yet. Ideas plz? Preferably from people who plan to be here..

What kind of "no" would you give a 16y/o asking you to buy him alcohol? What words would you use?

Yesterday:

Danny was sick and threw up on himself on the way to work so he turned around, came home, and got back in bed with me for another 5hrs. We probably woke up around 9am. After taking some meds, he was feeling somewhat better but was still sick. I had a headache and took some meds too. We got up and I made some super fatty marshmallow cocoa with added milk, egg nog, candy cane for a spoon/stir stick, Peeps snowman melting on top, and whipped cream on top of that! XD It was amazingly Christmasy. Probably coulda done without the peppermint tho. We sat on the couch for a bit watching Christmas specials or something, got hungry, and decided to COOK breakfast! We scrambled some eggs with shredded cheese and a little milk for fluffiness, microwaved some bacon, and put some bread in the oven. It was a badass breakfast. Yummy. After eating on the couch, we ended up knocking out again for about 1.5hrs. When we woke up, the rest of the day was slightly less impressive. It consisted of: feeding animals, getting a package in the mail, eating sushi and soup at Yummy's (restaurant), picking up the last gift on our Christmas shopping list at Target, meeting up and exchanging gifts with Marquee at The Orleans (where we also saw Magnet, Jason, Fox, and some of our other arcade employee friends and played a game of ITG), getting another toy for our new turtles at Petco, getting bean and cheese burritos from Del Taco, finishing our gingerbread house at home, and watching more Scrubs. All in all, I'd say it was a pretty average day. Not bad tho.

For example, I've never felt anything for Mike L, Rynker, Damien, KevBo (tho I might if I got to know him), Dukamok, Omid, FepJ [but I think he's awesome!], etc but I've had the hots for Kyle Ward, Lil Q, Adam Styles, Flash, JJ (but verrrrrrrry slightly and not til like 2 months ago), JJK, Jon ("Superman" from Merced, CA).. Actually tho, I've even dated a few good good ITG players that I was never attracted to (not mentioning any names) AND I've been attracted to lots of ITG players who weren't completely amazing (ie: my ex Patrick Holmes, my ex Kevin Shaw, my ex Manuel Garcia,..)

Me: If I was single and attracted to them at all then hell yeah. They'd have to be single too, of course (which I'm assuming they would be if they're still a virgin and asking me to handle that for them).

To you uptight peeps with stuff to say: Judge as you like, I'm just telling it like it is and nah, I don't feel the need to keep this stuff to myself. I'm not the type to care too much about what some bitches think is appropriate. This is going up for entertainment purposes cuz I think some of this stuff is pretty damn good. Lol

Club PURE at Caesar's Palace, which the magazine noted as top tier nightclub in vegas. Well the hype I guess had reached everyone, because that club had a huge damn line, and on top of that the Marines were in town and had their friends and g/fs with them. An unfourtunate detour for me was that the line bouncer guy saw that I had my $120 suede converse shoes on and said I could not get in the club with "basketball shoes". This was a problem, so I ran to Guess and bought some super cool grey "lifestyle" shoes and slapped em on. Henry and Jasmine had gone inside while Nisha had Jasmines phone to call me about the shoes and meet me at Guess. They had agreed to meet us in the front of the club inside. I coat checked my old pair of shoes and we got in! The club was stupid packed, as in wall-to-wall people and it was nigh-impossible to move without getting a drink knocked on you. I ordered Nisha  a "chocolate birthday cake" drink from the bar while I got a screwdriver, and we spent the next hour wandering through the throngs of people looking for Henry and Jasmine. During that hour I was wondering why she had Jasmine's phone with her when she could have just come to the Guess store and we could have called the others. Nisha was all buttworried the whole time and while I knew I had the keys to the car (and thus the only way back) and just wanted to get a good buzz going and dance (the DJ was playing a lot of high-energy stuff, Nisha was just looking like she was about to burst out crying and looking around for them. Turns out they were at a table we had passed like 3 times before. -_- then they all went to the bathroom while the DJ started turning Daft Punk so I got on the floor myself and did some dancing. They ended up wanting to leave, and it was about 1am at that time.

Nisha complained the entire trip back to Circus about not having a good time so we Went to check out Rok Vegas at New York New York. We got there and the place was closed, but the cantina nearby "Gonzalez Y Gonzalez" was open and playing some pretty good salsa. This is when we started having fun together. Many margaritas were bought, and I got her a  yardstick while I got a tropical one on the house for getting it custom-then the bartender fucked it up. so free alcohol yay! We got some good dancing and good times going on, and left at around 4. We were dead tired upon returning, and pretty much knocked out. Nisha kept waking up because of a tummyache though.

Saturday we all woke up around 10-11am and headed out. We walked around to the Riviera and had lunch at the top of the Stratosphere restaurant "Top of the World". This was a highlight of the trip: te restaurant was top-tier in all respects: it rotated to provide us with a 360-view of the entire area (and it was a clear day!), the food was delicious: I ordered calamari and spinach, and both were among the best I've had. bored chefs = great food, as long as they are real chefs and not just cooks. Our waitress had the presence of mind to point out all the landmarks under us, make good jokes, and make good recommendations to us for dessert, and even was able to have the chefs prepare a custom alfredo sauce for Nisha's shrimp fettuccine. SO GOOD. we spent a good hour and a half there simply because it was so nice up there. I'd give that place a 9.5/10, and that half-point off is my fault because i didn't have enough money to get a true entree. This place is probably a 10 though, based on what I saw. Definitely coming back here in the future.

After Stratosphere we went to the NASCAR cafe and rode on the roller coaster there. It was pretty fun even though the ride was $10. We passed by a failed attempt at the B3 - a 6lb burrito that is free if you can finish it. it looked delicious, but there was just too damn much of it. I don't think I would be able to eat it my own self. After wandering through the Sahara and Slots O Fun, we headed back to the hotel. Nisha and I went downstairs to get pictures of her first-eve gambling, where she somehow found GOLD FISH and loved it to death (seriously? what is with that game, girls are crazy for it!), as well as video blackjack with the creepy video dealer, and a few other slot machines. She didn't want to sit at a live table as she was too nervous. All in all she lost about $60 in slots, but she had a lot of fun so It was worth it to her. We went back upstairs and got ready for Club night 2...

I got home from work around 9:20 or 9:30am yesterday, 12/19/09. Danny was waiting at home for me with breakfast his parents had brought home for us from T-Birds before they left to San Francisco. (They brought home breakfast, finished getting ready for their trip, and then Danny drove them to the airport so they could fly out and spend Xmas with the family they have there in SF, CA. His mom, dad, and bro went but he stayed behind cuz he and I have to work. :/ It's alright tho. We're gonna have a nice Xmas, just the two of us.) We ate together while watching the first half of The Santa Clause. I love that movie. The food was good-country fried steak and eggs!

After breakfast, I napped while Danny went out and bought Xmas gifts for me, since he hadn't gotten to do his shopping yet (working so much). He also finished up our gift-buying for the last couple friends on our shopping list and did the much needed grocery shopping, particularly for Xmas dinner.

He woke me up just before 1:30pm. I was still soooo sleepy but needed to get up and get stuff done.

I hopped in the bathtub and took a nice, long bath. I had Danny bring me some baklava and fruit juice while I laid there soaking. It was so good.

When I finally got outta the tub, we had to hurry to the post office before closing at 3pm. There was a long line when we got there. Luckily, one of the guys working there was helping people in the line, trying to speed things up. I was just picking up a package from Japan so he got my package right away and we got outta there. You know what that package was? ANOTHER DDR DOLL! Heck yeah, I got myself another one. Gawd, I love my dance game collection. (Anyone got any nice things I can add to it? :p Most of all, I need more music samplers!)

From the post office, Danny and I went to The Orleans where we played four horrible games of ITG. Yeah..he and I really aren't doing so hot lately when it comes to dance games. He's just been working so much and I don't play much without him so we've gotten kinda outta shape. Funny how much things can change in just a few weeks.

After ITG, Danny and I went to Chinatown for boba. I got a peach flavored tea with boba, he got lychee jelly juice with extra fruit jelly. We noticed that the annual Chinatown holiday sale thing was going on again and decided to check it out for the second year in a row. We found some awesome things in there! As usual, they were selling a lot of jewelry, clothes, DVDs, CDs, hair clips, clothes, incense, and similar items. Two particular things caught my eye while in there tho: adorable Xmas jewelry and tiny, baby turtles!!!! I bought $10 worth of jewelry, which was a great deal considering what I got: 2 necklaces, 2 pairs of earrings, and a bracelet. (One necklace was for a gift, the rest of the jewelry was mine.) Danny and I walked around, looked at other things, and came across the baby turtles. Omg.....I HAD to have them! I'm such a sucker for cute animals. We seriously bought the two little turtles and their container and food for $12. You can't beat that!

Leaving Chinatown, we realized it'd be a good idea to find out how to properly care for the turtles so we stopped by Petco near home, got some advice and a care sheet, and purchased $55 of recommended supplies. Fortunately, I already had a heat lamp and tank I'd been saving for a pet snake that I have yet to buy (Danny's mom doesn't want me to buy one til he and I get moved into our house). I still have another spare tank for when I finally get that snake too.

Last stop we made was at Schuck's so Danny could get a clam chowder bread bowl to go. He got his clam chowder and we went home, put stuff away, fed the cats and dogs, cared for the turtles, ate, watched the rest of The Santa Clause, and then left the tv on for "background noise", if you know what I mean. ;) Finally, we turned the tv off and napped til I had to go to work.

I got a random ass call a couple days ago. I didn't recognize the number so I ignored the call and ended up with a voicemail. I checked it and the caller said he was someone I hadn't seen in a few years that always wore a red scarf. Fuck yeah, I knew who it was! So I called Nate/Ryzen Xia's crazy ass back and did some catching up. I miss that guy! I haven't seen him in hella long-since I visited Illinois like 3 yrs ago maybe? Good times. Anyway, if all goes well Vegas should be expecting a visit from him early 2010 (maybe March). I hope he can make it out. Party at my place! East coasters, make your reservations now. Cali ITGers, you gotta come too. We'll call it my house warming party.

Danny and I went to the recently opened City Center just to check it out (see previous post).

I was craving steak so after City Center, Danny and I got steak, shrimp, cheesy mashed potatoes, french fries, and onion rings at Denny's across the street. The service was great! They even brought us complimentary bread rolls as we waited for our plates to come out. O_o Is Denny's stepping their game up to try and survive the economy or did I just go on a really good night?

After Denny's, Danny and I stopped by Orleans to try out my new chart. We only got one game in and then headed home, watched some Bleach and part of the movie The Goods (if I remember correctly), and cuddled til I had to go to work.

Danny and I went to City Center here in Vegas (on the strip, next to the Monte Carlo) day before yesterday 12/17/09 to get our first good look at it. (He works there right now doing sprinkler fitting for Desert Fire Protection but hasn't seen much of it, aside from the unfinished areas he works in.) We took the tram, walked around the new City Center mall (Crystals) and casino (Aria), looked around outside, and checked out one of the many art galleries there.

I realize the majority of you aren't interested in anything aside from dance games but some of you asked to see this so for the few of you who aren't just total dance game nerds :p you can view my SIX (sorry! Couldn't show it all in less) new YouTube vids of City Center here:

You know, I'm still really excited about these glasses! I've literally NEVER seen the world this clearly in my entire life! I'm not exaggerating at all. Unless I had perfect vision when I was a baby and it got worse by the time I was in elementary school, I've NEVER had such perfect vision. Gawd, this is awesome! I feel so happy. ^_^

Just finished baking some Xmas sugar cookies. Some of them I even shaped like stars or Xmas trees and decorated with green frosting and red and white peppermint sprinkles!

Day before yesterday, Danny and I actually got to go to Orleans for a bit and play some ITG. We sucked hardcore. Damn his job for keeping us away from the arcade so much these last few weeks! Anyway, we had a good time there, especially when Nate showed up with his girl. Every time we see him, we all end up laughing til our faces ache. Somehow, the sex jokes just don't end when he's around.

Yesterday, Danny and I turned his car into a reindeer, just like mine. :p Ebay antlers ftw! Lol

Then we got some food (sushi for me, Subway for him) and went to the arcade again! I quit a 14 from the SSSC pack-that one that goes to 400bpm. That was depressing for me. :( I miss my stamina. It's probably gonna take me a week of playing again to get it back.

After ITG, he and I went home, watched Don't Be A Menace, started making our "gingerbread" house (using graham crackers, hard candies, candy canes, marshmallow whip, candy canes, and cardboard boxes), and napped til I had to go to work.
